Basma
Al-Miqbel
Nine years ago, Basma Al-Muqbil’s journey into the world of fine arts began. On the walls of her humble studio, she wrote simple but powerful words: "You can." That phrase was the spark for a long-held dream.
In the last three years, while she was touring farms, the sight of scattered wood caught her attention, awakening her imagination with the idea of giving it new life through her art. From that moment, her journey with the art of Najdi doors began, and she was able to transform that wood into art pieces that blend authenticity and ancient heritage with her own special creative touches.
With time, Basma's work began to stand out and gain attention, until the day one of her pieces was nominated to participate in "Craft Week" in London, as part of Wirth's participation. This was a pivotal moment in her artistic career, as the art that began with passion now receives global appreciation.
