Abdullah
Al-Saeed
Since he was a child, clay has accompanied Abdullah Al-Saeed through every step of his life. For him, it was not merely a building material, but an entire world where he channeled his energy, expressed himself, and found comfort even in its scent.
He began his journey in this art at the age of seventeen, under the tutelage of the master craftsman Ibrahim Al-Hamdan. From that moment on, he never strayed, eventually becoming a master in the art of building with clay himself. He has participated in notable projects such as the Al-Fakhri Mosque, Al-Jawz Mosque, and Al-Masukaf.
For him, building was not just a physical job, but a social and cultural ritual, surrounded by chants and songs that the craftsmen would repeat to motivate one another.
Today, Abdullah is considered one of the authentic voices in this art, not only because he excels at it, but because he loves it with genuine passion, giving it all his dedication and energy. His story is a reminder that some professions are not just skills, but an internal calling that cannot be ignored.
