The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth) is activating its strategic partnership with the Mohammed bin Salman Non-Profit City "Misk City" through the launch of the "Wrth Market." The event will take place from February 15 to 17, 2026, at Misk City in Riyadh. This initiative is part of Wrth's ongoing efforts to enhance the presence of traditional Saudi arts, support artisans and entrepreneurs, and connect handmade products with contemporary lifestyles, coinciding with the approaching holy month of Ramadan. Creative arts form a core pillar of Misk City’s vision and urban development, and hosting the "Wrth Market" underscores its role as an urban destination for cultural and community events, a supporter of creativity and entrepreneurship, and an enabler of national initiatives.

The Wrth Market aims to highlight the cultural and aesthetic value of traditional arts associated with Ramadan products. It presents them as an authentic part of daily life, community, and family through an interactive platform that enables Wrth’s artisans and entrepreneurs to showcase and market their products. By shedding light on their stories and artisanal experiences, the market contributes to enriching the artistic scene and raising awareness of these arts among various segments of society.

The market features the participation of 25 male and female entrepreneurs across diverse fields of traditional arts, including wood, jewelry, pottery, leather, Sadu, plaster, wicker, and metals. The participants are hosted in pavilions designed with an identity inspired by the spirit of Ramadan, reflecting both authenticity and innovation, while supporting the sustainability of traditional crafts and economically empowering their practitioners.

This activation serves as an extension of the strategic partnership between Wrth and Misk City, which aims to empower traditional arts, enhance their presence in community spaces, and create interactive opportunities combining culture, design, and entrepreneurship. This aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a vibrant society and a thriving economy rooted in national identity and creativity.

The "Wrth Market" is part of an integrated ecosystem managed by Wrth in the field of entrepreneurship, which includes educational programs, business incubators, and accelerators. Through these initiatives, trainees and students develop their skills and transform learning outcomes into established projects and marketable products. The market aims to maximize impact by providing a real platform to display these projects, linking craftsmanship to the creative economy, and enabling entrepreneurs to directly access the community and markets.

Misk City is the first non-profit city of its kind, contributing to the goals of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk). The city's vision is to serve as a global model for the development of the non-profit sector and an incubator for youth as well as local and international institutions. The city will contribute to achieving Misk's objectives in supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and qualifying future leaders by educating them on the internal operational concepts of non-profit work, as well as the opportunities and training programs it will provide for youth. Additionally, the city will offer services that contribute to creating an attractive environment for all beneficiaries of its offerings.
