The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts celebrated its second anniversary with the Taleed event hosted at the Riyadh Front. This annual event aims to celebrate a full year of achievements related to the revival of traditional arts. The event continued for three days, starting on the 6th of Ramadan, corresponding to March 28, until the 8th of Ramadan, which is March 30. The event includes various activities and initiatives to raise public awareness about Saudi national identity, highlight the importance of cultural heritage and its arts, and emphasize the institute's role in preserving and promoting national heritage and identity.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore and learn, with each activity providing an independent concept. In the "Discover" area, visitors could access information and facts about the institute and its work. The "Art and Mastery" section featured a collection of creative presentations that shed light on various outputs within the art business incubator and traditional building diploma, as well as apprenticeship programs. It also showcased samples of students' works. This was followed by the "Narrating Art" section, which explained various traditional arts and crafts step by step for visitors.

Visitors directly interacted with the second section, "Learn," where they could attend workshops to learn and train in various distinctive traditional arts such as metal accessories and Arabic calligraphy. The section also featured a variety of panel discussions with expert craftsmen and institute students, discussing the learning and preservation of traditional crafts and how to pass them from one generation to the next. Additionally, there was a wide outdoor area that housed the market, a café, and a children's corner with various fun activities.

The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts is a leading destination for promoting the Saudi national identity and enriching traditional Saudi arts. It preserves and enhances the unique cultural heritage of traditional arts and related works, supports national talents, and encourages learning, mastery, and development of these arts.
