In line with the strategic pillar of Wrth: The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts, aims to empower capabilities and outstanding entrepreneurs in traditional arts, support unique projects, and fine-tune their skills to create a vibrant traditional arts market, Wrth aligns with the evolving demands of the market Traditional Arts. Wrth empowerment programs aim to transfer and develop the capabilities of those who have established businesses in traditional arts by raising entrepreneurs' skill efficiency in handicrafts and traditional arts, allowing them to meet successful models in the local and international markets.

 

The programs included group workshops and individual consulting sessions for students and artisans who have demonstrated excellence in previous programs, such as the 2023 Traditional Arts Business Incubator and continuing education courses. Participants were carefully selected based on criteria including their craftsmanship experience, ability to build their own brands, development and improvement of their business models, marketing, growth enhancement, and distributing through sales channels, and attract investment opportunities. To advance their artistic works to higher stages and enhance their participation in different projects, exhibitions, and events.

 

The professional empowerment in entrepreneurship within the traditional arts fields is fully adopted and supported by Wrth, in collaboration with the Cultural Development Fund as a supportive partner, and the participation of Turquoise Mountain as a consulting partner to enhance the development of passionate and creative national talents in traditional arts and cultural heritage.

 

Wrth: The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts works to empower the traditional arts sector and Saudi capabilities through capacity development, providing educational, cultural, community, and specialized empowerment programs, and encouraging documentation, research, and innovation for a vibrant, sustainable market to ensure the prosperity of the Kingdom's rich traditional arts, both locally and internationally.
