Carpentry is considered a traditional craft rooted deeply in Saudi culture. This course aims to introduce trainees to the main principles of traditional carpentry in Saudi Arabia, especially those prevalent in the Najd (central) region. They will learn different terminologies of the art by studying various patterns of traditional doors. By the end of the course, trainees will use carving tools to produce a functional wood piece.
