About this course
Performing arts is a form of artistic expression throughout the ages and has contributed to preserving heritage and passing it on to future generations. From this perspective, the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts presents the Train the Trainers in Performing Arts Program, designed to prepare trainers capable of teaching these arts using modern and effective methods.
The program combines theoretical learning with practical workshops, equipping participants with advanced tools to design and deliver high-quality training programs, manage training sessions, and engage learners effectively. It also develops their presentation and knowledge-transfer skills, enabling them to become ambassadors in promoting and preserving performing arts.
Outcomes
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Appreciate the artistic and cultural value of performing arts and their historic role in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Understand training methodologies and concepts, applying them to effectively manage and facilitate training sessions.
- Understand the core principles, standards, and techniques of instructional methods.

- Acquire knowledge-sharing and skill-transfer mechanisms to effectively instruct performing arts enthusiasts.
Entry requirements
- This course is open to all community members aged 18 years and above, who have a high school diploma or higher accreditation.
- Applicants must have prior experience in performing arts, either through performance or instruction.
- Applicants must have previously completed a performing arts program at the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth).
