About the course
Embroidery is used as an artistic method to decorate traditional garments by stitching intricate patterns and motifs onto various types of fabrics such as silk, satin, and brocade, adding a unique aesthetic touch.
This program offers a unique opportunity to learn the art of the “Naqda Stitch” (also known as Talli), one of the essential and significant stitches in traditional embroidery. Through hands-on training, participants will explore the techniques of executing this stitch and its applications, while creating a variety of artistic designs inspired by local heritage.

By the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Recognize Naqda embroidery from various regions.
- Use the necessary tools to make an embroidered garment.
- Articulate the importance of preserving Naqda embroidery.
Entry Requirements
- This course is open to those aged 18 and above who have completed a beginner Wrth embroidery course.
- An embroidery or garment-making portfolio.
