About the course

Its importance is particularly evident in the field of traditional crafts, as it serves as a means of preserving heritage and developing it through modern approaches that meet market demands.

The program aims to introduce participants to the core concepts of entrepreneurship and its application in craft-based projects, with a focus on the role of creativity in developing competitive products. It also highlights the steps for establishing a craft-based entrepreneurial project, identifying supporting entities and funding sources, and building the skill of preparing a project plan that can be presented to incubators or investors.
 

Outcomes

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and its specific applications within the field of traditional crafts.
  • Identify the essential steps for establishing an entrepreneurial venture.
  • Prepare a practical business plan suitable for presentation to investment entities.

Entry Requirements

  • This course is open to all community members aged 18 years and above, who have a high school diploma or higher accreditation.
  • It is preferred that the trainee has an existing project or an entrepreneurial idea to effectively apply the concepts practically during the program.
