Program Overview

The Apprenticeship program in Najdi Door Construction offers hands-on training in the traditional craft of Najdi wooden door-making. Through direct engagement with experienced artisans, trainees will master woodworking and carving techniques, ensuring the preservation and continuity of this cultural heritage.

The program is designed to train participants in crafting wooden doors inspired by the rich and diverse heritage of Najd. It opens professional opportunities and supports participants in entering the labor market with competitive craftsmanship skills. The qualification awarded is a Certificate of Completion – Apprenticeship Program

Admission Requirements

  • No prior experience in Najdi door-making is required
  • The applicant must be a Saudi national or the child of a Saudi mother
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be in good health
  • Must be fully available and committed for the entire duration of the program
  • Must provide written approval from their employer (if employed), ensuring no conflict with working hours
  • Must pass the admission test, skill level assessment, personal interview, and practical evaluation.
  • Must comply with all rules, regulations, and policies of the apprenticeship programs and the institute
  • Must not have been dismissed from any apprenticeship program within the past year.
  • Must fulfill any additional requirements announced at the time of application
