Program Overview
Al-Bisht Al-Hasawi is considered one of the traditional cultural elements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This apprenticeship program is the first of its kind in the Arab world. It offers essential knowledge and skills related to the bisht-making craft. Participants will learn the fundamentals of the craft, its history, tools, Level 1 embroidery stitches, and production stages. The program includes hands-on training under the supervision of expert artisans and specialists, enabling trainees to develop practical, usable products.

Admission Requirements
- The applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
- No prior experience is required, but genuine passion and interest in traditional crafts are essential.
- The applicant must be a Saudi national or the son/daughter of a Saudi mother.
- The applicant must be in good general health and possess physical fitness suitable for the nature of the craft, free from chronic diseases.
- Full commitment to the training (full-time dedication).
- A written approval must be submitted from the employer (for employees) to ensure no conflict with working hours.
- Successful completion of the admission test and skills assessment.
- Successful completion of the personal interview and practical evaluation.
- Adherence to the rules and regulations of the Institute and the program.
- The applicant must not have been dismissed from any apprenticeship program during the past year.
