This course offers a general introduction to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), its goals, and mandates, as well as explaining the UNESCO conventions and programs aimed at supporting culture. The course also allows participants to study Saudi Arabia’s cultural components listed as intangible heritage and Saudi sites on the World Heritage List.
