Traditional Arts Business Incubator

Wrth: The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts holds the Traditional Arts Business Incubator Program. This educational experience includes Training sessions, group workshops, and individual advisory sessions, in addition to product development and marketing services to reach customers, to build national capabilities in the field of entrepreneurship in traditional arts.

 

Objectives:

  • Providing basic knowledge of professional entrepreneurship and innovation skills.

  •  Marketing traditional artistic and handicraft products to keep up with the modern world.

  •  Strengthening the traditional arts market and working on its sustainability.

  • Offering investment opportunities to support their projects.

Program Stages

Requirements

The first stage: Entrepreneurship basics

Providing participants with the basics of entrepreneurship through training courses and individual support sessions to build a business model and then nominate creative ideas 

 

The second stage: Establishing projects 

Evaluating the commercial models for products and providing appropriate support to develop them and enable them to launch them in the market professionally

 

The third stage: Empowerment in the labor market 

Reviewing performance in the market, resolving the problems facing entrepreneurs, and working on resolving them to build a successful business model suitable for the target market

The applicant must be of Saudi nationality or hold a valid residency

 

 The applicant must have an existing project or initial product

 

The applicant must adhere to the program’s terms and. conditions

Artisans Empowerment Portal

 

The program provides a platform that serves the artisans' community by providing the necessary support and opportunities to develop their skills, enhance their commercial activity, and improve their capabilities and position in the craft business market.

 

Objectives:

  •  Registering artisans to enable them to practice traditional arts across various regions of the Kingdom.

  •  Discovering, empowering, and developing their activity in the market.

  • Enhancing artisans’ participation in unique projects.

Stages of empowerment

Requirements

 

The first stage: Collection and registration

. Artisans are enlisted in the empowerment database

 

The second stage: Region and Craft Inventory

Connecting beneficiaries to the appropriate sales outlets for their products and geographical areas

 

The third stage: Empowerment and creating business opportunities

Inviting beneficiaries to participate in the Institute’s specific events, participations, and unique projects

 

The fourth stage: Added value 

Promoting the business in the name of the employer and their store through the institute’s points of sale

Wrth: The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts offers the Traditional Arts Business Accelerator Program. The program includes group workshops, individual advisory sessions, developing and marketing products and services, promoting their growth, and attracting investment opportunities.

 

Objectives:

  • Enabling beneficiaries to build and improve their business models through a creative environment following international best practices.

  • Develop and market products and services, enhance their growth, and display them on sales platforms.

  • Enhancing their participation in local and international events and unique projects.

Program Stages

Requirements

The first stage: Evaluation

Evaluation stage, developing a strategic plan, and providing improvement consultations on designs and production.

 

The second stage: Marketing

Preparing a comprehensive marketing plan and implementing sales strategies, in addition to promoting growth and development to build a vibrant, sustainable market.

 

The third stage: Operation and financing

Implementing operational and manufacturing management, recruiting appropriate human resources, in addition to presenting products to investors to attract investment opportunities.
